The Philippines
Explore an island country with contrasting landscapes: Palawan’s limestone bays, Cebu’s coastal communities and Bohol’s distinctive hills. Start by choosing the places that fit your interests, then work out the connections between them.
Where to start
Palawan
El Nido and Coron are known for limestone scenery and coastal landscapes. They are separate destinations, so treat the journey between them as part of your itinerary.
Cebu
Cebu includes a major urban center as well as coastal towns such as Moalboal. Your choice of base changes the distances involved in exploring the island.
Bohol
Bohol combines the inland landscapes of the Chocolate Hills with coastal areas. Panglao, linked to Bohol by bridges, offers another setting for a beach stay.
Plan your Philippines itinerary
2-Week Philippines Itinerary
Plan fourteen days through Manila, Bohol and El Nido, with thirteen nights, flight connections, flexible island days and a sample budget.
Build your island route
Mark your international arrival and departure points first. Then map each flight, ferry and road transfer needed to reach your overnight bases.
Compare the time spent traveling with the time available at each destination. Include airport or port access, check-in and luggage collection when counting transfer days.
Before you book
Confirm transport schedules for your dates and check which airport or port each service uses. Review connection times carefully when booking separate tickets.
Check local weather and sea-condition updates before boat trips. Keep your plans flexible if a crossing or excursion changes, and review entry requirements for your passport before departure.
